Refrigerant filling with the WEH® TW141 up to 1,450PSI

WEH has launched a new quick coupling for refrigerant filling in high-pressure applications (up to 1,450 psi). The WEH® TW141 provides pressure-tight connection within seconds to the outer diameter of straight tubes – without hand tightening, tapes or thread sealants. The hand lever actuated quick connector is ideal for filling of refrigerants and features easy, single-handed, push to connect operation without requiring adjustment. The lever actuation eliminates twisting threaded connectors and turning toggle actuated connectors, which means that no lateral forces are generated when connecting that might cause the tube to bend. Thanks to the internal pressure support, disconnection is only possible below a pressure of 72 psi (5 bar).

Designed for external diameters from 3.5 mm to 22.0 mm, the TW141 is rated for an operating pressure from vacuum up to 1,450 psi (100 bar) and made of high-grade materials.

The WEH® TW141 can also be used for automated testing during the production of tubes (leak, vacuum and function testing).

For difficult accessibly tubes like heat exchangers, WEH® offers the TW141L, an extended version of the WEH® TW141. A large variety of adaptors for the various media inlets as well as a retaining plate for additional security are available.
