    The quick release coupling TW800 is easy to use. Only pull back the grip sleeve and push the WEH® Quick Disconnect onto the test piece as far as the stop. Then push the grip sleeve forward, the clamping jaws are locked and the pressure-tight connection is made. Testing can now proceed by supplying the pressure medium.

The WEH® TW800 Quick Connector simplifies work procedures, shortens test times and improves productivity. Therefore the connector is ideal for low pressure and function testing of components with male thread.

In the automotive industry the WEH® TW800 quick release coupling is also used for leak testing of fuel connections, connections for cold and hot water and other supply lines as well as refrigeration and air conditioning components.

By using high quality stainless steel the test connectors meet the stringent requirements of industrial testing. The WEH® TW800 Quick Connector is designed for a pressure range up to max. 725 psi.

Application

Quick connector for pressure and function testing of components with a bead, rim, collar, flange, stub or male thread at low pressure ranges for the following standard sizes:

  • Whitworth tube thread to DIN EN ISO 228-1 | G3/4" male thread

For automotive applications, the TW800 is used for testing fuel lines, radiators, ACR components and other sub-assemblies for the automotive industry.
It is also used in electromobility for testing e-axles, cooling water pipes of electric machines and electric motors.
Another application is function testing compressors, heat exchangers, measuring devices, hoses, tubes and tanks. The test connector is also an ideal tool for automated leak testing during production, automatic systems and robotics.
